Abstract
This article analyzes the notion of symbolic violence of Pierre Bourdieu in
the language used in the reggaeton’s songs, because It is worrying to note how
through the language used in them, it is transmitted a large amount of anti-values
that promote acts of violent, intolerance, sexism and degradation among our students
of high school.
For this reason, parents and teachers have to become
aware to undertake works to resolve this situation.

En nuestro diario quehacer en las aulas es preocupante percibir como nuestros
estudiantes manifiestan comportamientos agresivos, situaciones de intolerancia y
discriminación y formas de percibir las relaciones de pareja algo distorsionadas.
