A hundred years ago The Apache Trail from Globe to Roosevelt Dam and down Salt River Canyon to The Valley was considered a World Class Tourist Attraction. Southern Pacific R.R. promoted a "detour" from Bowie to Maricopa that became immensely popular. This is a 1922 marketing brochure for the "detour." The full provenance of this document is unknown.
