With more pressure to maintain “safe and hygienic” spaces after employees, clients, customers, visitors, employees and delivery couriers have entered and used them, as well as balancing occupancy and availability requirements, the need for speed and efficiency with cleaning is increasing. As large numbers of occupants and visitors flow through building facilities every day, there is an inherent risk of cross-contamination.
The risk of cross- contamination is increased significantly by the potential, when under pressure, for missed or inadequate “cleaning” to occur. This dilemma presents a compelling need for enhanced cleaning protocols and more specifically a regimen of disinfection and enduring antimicrobial surface protection.
