Centre Comercial Carrer de Mar One of the principals streets of Badalona, and where you can find some shops very old. In the past, the people of badalona were living around “Dalt de la Vila” and couldn’t expand . But in century XVIII on account of industrialization of Barcelona, they start to expand towards to the sea and the street “Camí de mar” now “Carrer de mar” in English that means the street of sea, is very important for connect these two points（the sea and Dalt de Vila） This street has long history and incomparables stores, and types of shops are also very varied. There were many stores refitted but some of them have maintained for a long time, here you are some examples: “Farmàcia Surroca” now, is the oldest shop in this street, was founded in 1878. And “Droguería Boter” which established in 1924 by Joan Boter and Torrents, it wasn’t the first drugstore in the street, although has its long history.
