This editing matches the speed of the track which is an upbeat song so the speed of it is fast. The pace of the track is slower to the other pop songs because it’s a more of a ‘love’ song. Which means it has gentle transitions. Some bits are slower as the song slows down a bit when the new singer comes in. As the speed of the video slows down the band is edited out but the singer is still there until it comes to Cardi B’s part then the maroon 5 singer is edited out as well, so it’s all the focus is on Cardi B. The camera work, is mostly eye level and mid shot so it’s like the band is performing live.
