January 14, 2019 PTA Meeting Minutes Attendance: Mercedes Thelen, Karen Marr, Justin Pierantoni, Samantha Alcorn, Amy Fenolia, Laura Oler, Marla Voos, Katie Frick, Jacque Graef Motion to approve November minutes was made by Laura, seconded by Karen. Motion approved. Principal’s Report  Has seen lot of kids wearing their IPES gear in house colors.  Things have been going well Treasurer  Amy has started working on audit  2 checks: $657 for Box Tops, $102.21 from apparel sales, more than last year Membership  No new members Communications  Posting meeting times Fundraising  Sara has volunteered to chair read-a-thon  Amy, Laura, Marla volunteered to help  Date is to be determined Standards of Affiliation  Katie filed 2017  File in April for 2018 Valentine’s Day  Students will have a party with their Houses  PTA usually provides cookies and drinks  Mr. Pierantoni will check into snack ideas  Next meeting agenda items: Yearbook and Teacher Appreciation Next Meeting Monday Feb Less
