How the OVER 15 YEARS AGO An Auburn student squandered his freshman Oaks year bouncing from church to church, needing a mature Christian to disciple him and missing out on God’s purpose for him at Retreat Auburn. Though he eventually found those things, Got Started he wanted to make it easier for others to get connected to what the Lord was doing in Auburn. AN IDEA Working at a camp one summer he met students from Texas A&M and heard about their Impact Retreat for incoming freshmen. After several years of waiting, the Lord opened the doors for a retreat like this at Auburn.
