Audience feedback for first cuts I have asked several different people about what they thought of the first cuts of my magazine pages. These are the general opinions. Front cover – 1 The font used for the masthead doesn’t really stand out. The colour used could be darker and the font could be larger. The font used throughout is difficult to read. A bolder font would stand out better and attract the target audience more. The “Summer edition” text is in an odd place. Needs to be either at the very bottom or very top. The text looks very minimalistic. Gets lost on the page and the target audience wouldn’t pay attention to it. The audience would be less likely to buy it. Contents page – 1 The whole page being the image looks too much like a cover instead of a contents page. Use a different background and make the image smaller. The masthead Liberty again doesn’t stand out. The font is difficult to read and the colour doesn’t stand out on that particular background. The actual
