Load It Right.. I get real itchy when I know that riding weather is just around the corner. Especially if I have a trip planned that will take me out for a few days...ROAD TRIP! Yep, and I’m ready right now. I do believe anyone who loves to ride feels the same way abut half-way through the winter. Like most folks, you’re probably already going through the check list to make sure everything is right with the bike. Fluids, tires, spokes (if you have them), cables, nuts, and bolts. But have you considered the check list for loading your bike when it’s time to roll? It’s a serious consideration. The first thing to look at is the GVWR...the combined weight of everything that will be sitting atop the bike. This would include you, your passenger, the gear you are packing, and all the additional little gizmos you may have added to the bike aftermarket.
