Roamin’ In The Bush... One of the things we occasionally hear is that the knives we review are often on the high-end of the scale, sometimes out of the reach of the casual outdoorsman. In truth, we cover what is suggested by our readers, or if we come across something that really jumps out, then we’ll take a closer look. Price is never a factor in our decision to cover anything, including knives. We’ve looked at knives in the $500 plus range that were so bad we called the maker to confirm that they actually wanted us to write a review. And, we’ve covered knives in the $50-100 range that were absolutely great products. Moral of the story here is that you should never gravitate towards, or flee from, gear based solely on their price tag. You could be fooled, on both ends of the spectrum.
