Service Bulletin Char-Lynn ® June 8, 1993 Steering Control Units Date: June 8, 1993 Subject: Changes to 25 Series Steering Control Unit (-002 & -003 Revision Levels) Changes to 40 Series Steering Control Unit (-002 Revision Level) 25 Series Steering Control Unit - 002 Revision Level Effective February 1993, the housing for the 25 Series Steering Control Unit was changed from gray iron to ductile iron. This is a product improvement change to increase the pressure capability of the steering unit. 25 Series Steering Control Unit - 003 Revision Level 40 Series Steering Control Unit - 002 Revision Level Effective August 1, 1993, the three piece shaft seal arrangement (9092-033 seal, 14400 back-up ring, 250001- 121 o-ring) is replaced with a new one piece seal (9233-001).
