Tenaciter The half-termly newsletter of Archbishop Tenison’s CE High School Spring 2018 SOMETHING ENDURING Education is a great thing to be involved in. For all the challenges and frustrations which we encounter through a day, a week or a term at school, we know that we are contributing to something which is potentially of lasting value. Those of us who come into teaching do so most often out of a sense of gratitude for what we have ourselves received from our teachers. There is a desire to “put something back”. On January 25th we once again held our Sixth Form Subject Choice Evening. And once again we were amazed by the contribution of our former Sixth Form students who came back to share with our current Year 11 pupils their thoughts about A Level choices, university degree courses and how this all links with subsequent job and career moves. The depth of insight shared in that short evening was remarkable. It was so valuable to hear these former students talking with such enthusiasm
