a PROSTHESIS How is an impression taken for 05 an Axiom®D implant? Depending on the case and the planned prosthetic restoration, there are 2 possible solutions for taking the impres- sion: on the implant or on the abutment. The impression on implant is made directly with a pop-in type transfer. The prosthesis and any alterations to the abutment are carried out in the laboratory. MATERIAL REQUIRED Pop-In Implant Threaded gripping device transfer analog Ref. OPCF100 Ref. OPPI028 Ref. OPIA028 1 2 1. Procedures in the mouth Remove the healing plug with a threaded gripping device Ref. OPCF100 1 2 Insert the Pop-In transfer into the implant with manual pressure 3 4 3 4 Take an impression using a commercially available impression tray (closed tray impression). Once the material has hardened, care- fully remove the impression tray*. *See recommendations of the impression material manufacturer.
