SUMMARY OF THE CD PRESIDENCY’S FIRST YEAR REPORT I. Briefing on current achievements of the CoD Presidency Activities on Mongolia’s priorities as the Chair of the CD are the following: 1. Education for Democracy - Establishment of the Initiative Group on Education for Democracy in New York on 21 September 2011 consisting of Presidents of Finland, Mongolia, Nigeria and Romania and Prime Minister of Luxembourg; - International Seminar on Education for Democracy organized in Ulaanbaatar on 21-22 May 2012; - Regional Conference on Education for Democracy planned on 17-18 January 2013 in India; - Draft resolution on Education for Democracy to be submitted to the UNGA at its 67th session in 2012; - First 2 meetings (Warsaw & Ulaanbaatar) of the CD Working Group on Education for Democracy took place. 2.
