hospitality rules Accompanying person: « Companies should not pay any cost associated with individuals accompanying invited professionals » - source: International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufactures & Associations (IFPMA) Code of Pharmaceutical Marketing Practices – 2006 revision – p 12, section 7.3 In compliance with company policy, accompanying persons’ participation to sanofi events (scientific and promotional activities) is FORBIDDEN. Sanofi will refuse access to its scientific and promotional activities to any person accompanying a hosted sanofi healthcare professional. Logistics agencies appointed by SANOFI, shouldn’t be involved in booking double rooms for participants even if they pay for it themselves. Guests should be advised by affiliates beforehand, that the double occupancy of their room is at their charge and their responsibility to book. Hotels should have strict instruction to charge an eventual supplement of a double occupation of the room upon check-out as all
