For immediate release Birmingham Kings partner with city schools BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (Oct. 14, 2016) – Richard Weber, owner and CEO of The Birmingham Kings, announces the beginning of a partnership with Birmingham City Schools to foster active, positive and healthy lifestyles for the cities youth. “The community is of upmost importance to our organization, we strive only to improve it,” Weber said. This partnership will include donations and volunteering to make improvements for local schools; funds and personal investment in after school programs; and textbook donation for students. As a parent and avid sports fan, Weber enjoys involving himself with organizations that cultivate better opportunities for children. Players for the team will visit different after school programs, including football, basketball, soccer, tennis, debate and many more for various schools around town. They will visit elementary, middle and high schools. “It’s all about the kids. They are the best kind of fans,”
