You hear the loud ringing of the fire bell, begrudgingly throw on some pants, and walk outside where you are greeted by hundreds of students and a crisp cold air. This inconvenience that can happen upwards of 10 times a semester is there for good reason. It is commonplace for students to violate fire safety regulations in their room out of convenience but one tapestry that is hung too high can have fatal consequences on a large scale. Some students may interpret rules and regulations as the administration overstepping their boundaries. Fire regulations have been incredibly thought out and are in place to help students from hurting themselves.
