Ever since Google's trials, the autonomous (or self-driving) vehicle has taken centre-stage. Industrials,
laboratories and territories regularly make announcements regarding the development and testing of
this type of vehicle. Aside from the on-board technological innovations present in these new mobility
products (individual vehicles or shuttles), what is also at stake are their new uses and their integration
into the economic and social fabric.
Faced with this disruption and to share their expertise, VEDECOM, Telecom Evolution* and ESTACA have
come together to design a comprehensive training method on the autonomous and self-driving vehicle.
Its systematic approach brings an understanding of the technical issues as well as the socio-economic
stakes related to self-driving vehicles.
