Still The Greatest Little Society in the West Formed in 1988 for golfers of all abilities around the borders of Dorset, Somerset & Wilts G ood Morning, Another month, another Mag, and as I write, tomorrow another round, this time at the unique and ancient New Forest Course near Lyndhurst, the second oldest course in Hampshire an one that was saved from the brink of closure just a few years ago by a band of very enthusiastic members— well done to them. Just one meeting since the last mag, that being a return to the lovely and welcoming Enmore Park GC just West of Bridgewater, unanimously applauded two years ago as the best visit of the year. Again, they did not let us down and enjoyed another lovely day and in lovely weather. The only hiccup was basically a “cock mix up” with the fairly new caterers who, quite surprisingly to me, provided us all with Bacon Rolls and coffee, when these had not been ordered, one to keep costs down, and two, to ensure the Breakfast brigade were able to hav
