Army Aviation holds Pão-de-Açúcar Operation From March 28th to April 8th, in support of CGDA (Area Defense General Coordinator) – Armed Forces' responsible structure for defense and security in the Games Rio 2016 - the 1º and 2º Army Aviation Batallions (1º e 2º BAvEX), located in Taubaté/SP, carried, in Rio de Janeiro, Pão-de-Açúcar Operation which aims to prepare their crew to take several different actions during the OlympicGamesRio2016. The military aviation personnel practice several actions of general deployment, Command and Control as well as the recognition of key points in the city. Taking the opportunity, Brazilian Army Special Ops troops also took part in the Pão-de-Açúcar Operation carrying a joint trainingwiththeaircrew.
