Plans included native planting r estor ation and w ildlife habitat enhancem ent that w ould pr ovide the com m unity an oppor tunity to escape w ithin the m etr o ar ea. At the tim e, it w as just a tr ansfor m ative vision. Now that Altm aier Fam ily Par k is officially open, it m ar ks the beginning of that vision into r eality for our entir e com m unity. This opening com es after a near ly tw o year collabor ative effor t betw een the City of Cor alville, the Altm aier Fam ily, and var ious suppor ting agencies, par tner ships and volunteer s.
