Production of Biodiesel and Bioethanol from Microalgae In the last centuries the contemporaneous societies have been living a drastically and severe environmental crisis by effects generated with the fast growing of the industrialization, population and urbanization. It has provoked few benefits effects for the subsistence of any living ecosystem on the earth. As a sign of that you could see the damage in the ozone layer, the oceans and the soil have been contaminated with garbage and toxic chemical compounds, the desertification, the current sea level rises or drought in some regions of the world (like Africa). We have the capacity to identify some of the causes of those destructive acts and one of them is the uncontrolled use of fossil fuels. The disproportionate use of that sort of energetic resource has brought the emission of toxics gases like “Volatile Organic Compounds” or VOC (COx, NOx and SOx) as they are better known.
