Observations Lesson n°2 Aims: Students will be able to: Identify countries. Recognize celebrities and where are they from. Introduce themselves. Contents: Presentation of countries: Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Chile, Colombia, United States. Starting the lesson: (5minutes) T asks students to work in groups. Each group chooses an envelope which has the name of a different country. T asks if in this country people speak English or not. Task 1: Pre- task: (5minutes) T asks them some questions such as: where are these countries? Are they in Europe/ Asia/ American? Task: (5 minutes) Then, students are given a map of America in which they have to identify the country and write its names. Once finished the activity, T says the names of the countries (Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Chile, Colombia, and United States) and Sts repeat them.
