Fibromyalgia is a disease that isn’t visible externally. It’s only in the inside. The people that suffer it have very bad medical conditions. Association Aficar: Patients and relatives of Fibromyalgia. IMAGES We started the association because there was a group of people that were suffering the disease. This group, were meeting in the Health Centre. They had their therapies, informative talks… They decided to join an association to be able to have several benefits. Our head office is in Cartama Station because we are local, that’s the only reason. The association is financed by the activities that we organise. Some of the activities are free for our partners. But, we also have others, for example, school support and English classes. These activities don’t seem to be about fibromyalgia, but, we are helping the children whose mothers or fathers are suffering the disease, and, apart of this, it is a way to raise funds. - Student: Yes, I know that. - Teacher: Ok.
