Greece -Ionian Islands – Corfu Programs may change without notice for safety reasons, weather or logistic conditions at the Captain's discretion A real gateway to Greece, the Ionian Islands include six major islands: Kefalonia, Ithaki, Zakynthos, Corfu, Lefkada (or Lefkas) and Paxo; with the addition of Kithera which form the so-called "Eptanisa". Among the minors and perfect for the navigation there are Meganissi, Antipaxi, Cerigotto and Elafonissos. This area has some of the most beautiful beaches of the Mediterranean and it is a paradise for surfers, due to favorable climatic conditions and the chance to discover countless bays with crystal clear water. From April to October predominate clear skies and pleasant temperatures. Summer brings long evenings, spectacular sunsets, light winds and calm sea.
