Battlefields Tours in Northern France 1914-1918 Dear Madam,Sir, As you know, this year is the 100th Anniversary of the Battle of Vimy Ridge. Many schools, colleges and universities are making the trip to France to be part of the ceremony. For children and teenagers it is an experience not to be missed and for teachers an opportunity to educate young people about Canada’s rôle in ww1. At the « Museum Somme 1916 » in Albert, France , we know how important it is to pass on our ancesters’ history to new generations. Every year we take hundreds of children around the battlefields of the Somme. We are passionate about it and this is why schools always come back. This year, and on this special occasion we are offering a guided tour including : Vimy Memorial, the Newfoundland Memorial and the biggest canadian cemetery in France : Adanac.
