Do-It-Yourself Messiah Returns to Chicago for its 41st Year!
WHAT: The International Music Foundation proudly presents the 41st Annual Do-It-Yourself Messiah, taking place at the Harris Theater on Tuesday, December 20 and Wednesday, December 21. Since 1976, this beloved holiday tradition offers attendees a unique opportunity to participate in the performance as they become the choir in George Frederic Handel’s masterpiece, Messiah. Accompanied by a volunteer orchestra and a world-renowned conductor and soloists, audience members will welcome the holiday season, raising their voices joyfully together, at this cherished performance of Messiah.
