The backdrop to the Paris E-Prix is the Hôtel des Invalides which provides the race with a unique visual signature. The circuit loops around the famous landmark, forming a sort of rectangle with rounded turns around the roundabouts. It isn’t easy to overtake in Paris and the final straight is very bumpy. It’s not a very hard track for tyres. It can be quite dirty to begin with but there is a little more grip than at most street circuits.”
