“Sebring features a mix of asphalt and concrete, so grip levels differ through different parts of the track. The surface is very bumpy, too, especially along the concrete sections, so that makes setting up the cars a complex job. The track evolves considerably between the start, which takes place in the heat of the afternoon, and the cooler finish late on Friday evening, not to mention the rubber that gets laid down over the eight hours. Tyre wear is low to average.”
