BOYS & GIRLS CLUB OF EAST SCARBOROUGH VIOLENCE Purpose The Boys & Girls Club of East Scarborough is committed to providing a safe and secure work environment that is free from violence, threats of harassment, intimidation or coercion for all employees, volunteers, members, visitors and vendors. Specifically, if the Club is aware that domestic violence is likely to expose an employee to a workplace physical injury every reasonable precaution will be implemented to protect the individual. The purpose of this policy is to convey the Club’s commitment to a zero tolerance policy for workplace violence. This policy will also address the issue of potential workplace violence in our community, prevent workplace violence from occurring to the fullest extent possible, and set forth procedures to be followed when such violence has occurred.
