Under 8 accompanied by someone 16 or older, either in the pool with them or on the pool deck. 12 and under will need to complete a swim test. Temporary swim necklaces are to be worn while swimming that indicate swim level. Red - Swimmer cannot swim to the lifeguard chair or touch with their chin above water at the dividing line. Swimmer must wear life jacket or be within reach of someone 16 or older in the shallow end of the pool Yellow - Swimmer can swim to the lifeguard chair without assistance. Swimmer can swim on their own in the shallow end of the pool without a life jacket. Green - Swimmer can swim to deep end and tread water for one
