TEACHING DEVELOPMENT - TASK 5 PLANNING OUR E-PORTFOLIO By Diana GL 1. What are the main components of teaching portfolio that would best captured EVERYTHING that you do. Make a list. According to the resources and articles we have been working on. I consider essential to have in my portfolio: 1) My Teaching Philosophy. It has to show the methodology I follow in order to facilitate Ss learning. This part is what actually supports my thoughts, pedagogical objectives and approaches when teaching English. 2) Collected Data. Everything you think evidences your teaching principles. Students’ products like artifacts, records, Ss’ writings etc. Materials you create for classes. Peer’ feedback. 3) Reflection. Having in mind portfolio is a reflective tool about our teaching practices, this component needs to be developed constantly using all the data we gather in order to state how we can improve our performance.
