SESSION 5 TASK Teaching Portfolio -Planning our E-Portfolio By Diana Soto 1. What are the main components of teaching portfolio that would best captured EVERYTHING that you do? Make a list Taking into account different sources about teaching portfolios, I can say that the main components that would best captured everything about what I do are: • The teaching philosophy statement: Here I will talk about my teaching methods, approach and expertise. This part of the portfolio is very important because here I can describe the way I teach. • Evidence: The evidence is going to help to support my teaching philosophy. Here I can share different products from the work in classes. • Reflection: All teaching portfolios must have this component because it is the essence of that important tool. Portfolios are created to analyze and evaluate teachers’ performance, and they are in charge of reflecting and evaluate their own job. In my teaching portfolio I will give my opinion about my own performance
