Designers and Artists participated by presenting jewels on the theme “Beyond the look. Journey into the essence of the jewel: the project brings inspiration to become shape and matter“. Venice Design Week asked the participants to reflect on the immateriality of a story that is transmitted through a precious form.
The designers tell us about a universe through the preciousness of small objects that become stories which evoke emotions. The committee consists of Maria Rosa Franzin president of Associazione Gioiello Contemporaneo; Anna Schetelich owner of OONA Galerie di Berlino; Elena Rizzi owner of OHMYBLUE gallery; Lorenza Bini, owner of Bini Gallery Contemporary Jewellery a Melbourne; Architect Zanon Roberto, Design professor of Accademia di Belle Arti; Valeria Accornero giornalist and blogger of GioielloContemporaneo.it; Marianna Serandrei collector and art lover hosting the exhibition at Ca’ Pisani Design Hotel.
