Ellis Island Last Saturday, I was very glad to be able to visit the Ellis Island. Actually, this was my first tour to the American tourist attractions, and I was excited that I could not sleep the day before. Although it was very tough to reach the destination (we spent more than 3 hours in transportation), but it did not affect my mood and I thought it is worthwhile. When I arrived at the ferry, sky is blue, water is very clean and you can hear the echo if listen carefully. Also it was full of person like a bunch of immigrants are going to immigrate to America. Especially when I stood in line to wait for security check, this feeling was more intense. I imaged I was an immigrant, and the future is unknown for me. So I looked forward it and also a little nervous. Just like my first year immigrant's experience to NYC. Less
