“Trick or Treat!”
I know before I open the door exactly what I am going to see; and I am not
disappointed. There is the little blonde lad with a front tooth missing acting as
spokesman. He is wearing a long, black cape that drags on the ground and is, by now,
covered in mud. He has a pair of badly fitting, fake pointed teeth that fall out every time
he talks. He is covered in a red substance that is probably tomato ketchup … a fair bet
really as he smells like he’s just left a cheap fish and chip shop.
Then there is the pretty blonde girl standing at the back, looking down her perfect
Barbie nose. She is ‘a witch’ apparently. I am, of course, terrified and totally convinced
that every evil spell every performed came from the tip of this child’s wand. Especially
as she is bedecked in a short, tight black dress that does nothing to disguise she is all of
15 going on 25. She is tottering on heels that she has obviously never worn before and
she carries a handbag with a label th
