This tip is very easy I’m certain a number of you out there’ll kick yourself after you end
reading. Like you, I still learn things and this tip was passed to ME a year ago…after twenty
years of shooting while not it. Photography may be a journey, not a destination. Don’t’ sweat
when you learn one thing, simply be happy you’re smarter due to it.
A grey card may be a card that’s eighteen grey. Why this can be necessary is as a result of
your camera assumes the globe is, on average, 18% gray. And it’s right, a part of the time.
this can be the most reason scenes aren’t exposed as you’d like once exploitation P or A or S
mode; as a result of your camera is programmed to assume the scene before of it’s eighteen
grey and it wasn’t eighteen grey. To demonstrate this on your own, set your camera to P mode
(gasp!) and take an image of a white piece of paper. currently set your exposure
compensation to +1 or +2 and take identical shot. that one appear
