July 20, 2018 Vol. 6, No. 4 KVVP member Nahla Nimeh-Lewis has agreed to coordinate our social gatherings at Taylor Books on Capitol Street on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. for a chat over your favorite beverage and book-browse. Meet up with fellow members, meet new folks and old friends, enjoy a bit of camaraderie – and the parking is free after 6 p.m. on the streets. We are pleased to report that on June 4 of this year, the Charleston City Council voted to make parking in all the city's parking garages free after 5:00 p.m. on weekdays and all day on the weekends. For those who like to walk afterwards in the downtown area, Nahla is willing to lead the way.
