Our Love With Coffee Shops
Here in the UK over the last two decades we've seen a real change in trends from where we meet to
be social, to have informal business discussions, to study and even to relax. Coffee was once
something we bought in Styrofoam cups from roadside cafés or vending machines, which usually
tasted horrible and was often scalding hot or practically cold. But now we've become a real nation
of coffee lovers. But is it just the coffee we love?
Back in my early days of business it was not uncommon to meet in the pub with business colleagues
for brain storming or discussions and even with friends during the day. This is no longer the case
and I'm really glad about that. I never really liked meeting in the pub. But like so many Brits I adore
the coffee shop, I even have all the coffee paraphernalia at home like milk frothers and coffee
machines to replicate this experience, but why?
