P L A N N I N G S T U D Y In February of 1959 the first Masses of St. Bonaventure Catholic Community were celebrated in Cedarcrest Elementary School’s gymnasium with nearly 1,200 parishioners present. Since then we have built a beautiful campus with a church, social hall, parish offices, gathering space and youth room allowing our parish to cater to the many needs of our ministries and community. Over the years, our facilities have served us well and as the need for additional space or facility improvements arose, our parishioners have generously responded to the call to allow our faith community to expand and grow stronger. Just as we are responsible for the maintenance of our homes, it is also our duty to ensure we are diligent with the care and upkeep of our parish. Our church building continues to age, it’s almost 60 years old, and it requires attention. Four years ago we responded to the call for building improvements and now we are being asked to do so again.
