What a great time was had by all! The Cayucos Land Conservancy’s Summer Splash
celebration at the Borradori Garage was packed from wall to wall with fun. Superb music
from Just Country packed the dance floor with gyrating bodies while the mile-long wine bar
kept guests humming with pleasure at the wonderful selection offered by Tobin James,
Cayucos Cellars, Rotta, Laetitia, Minassian-Young, Clautiere, Wild Horse and Villa Creek.
Steve Hennigh and his flavorful Cayucos Beach Ale kept the hops crowd happy. And the
food —everyone raved about the delicious appetizers from Cafe della Via, Dining with
Andre, Sea Shanty, Cayucos Fine Meats and Deli, Spencer’s, Nucci’s, Duckie’s, Ruddells,
Robin’s, McPhee’s, Devine Catering and more until everyone put up their hands and said,
“enough!” The verbal and silent auctions brought in donations for the treasure chest CLC
needs to continue retaining the natural areas around Cayucos and retiring the hillside lots.
