• 64 yo woman with a history of varicose veins with no
clinical symptoms. Presented with a 2 week history
of pain over the varicosities and discoloration.
• She underwent left lower extremity GSV ablation 4
years ago. Varicosities are still present after ablation.
• PMH – No medical problems and no history of DVT.
• Medications – none
• Family History – Varicose veins from her father
• Social History – No ETOH/Smoking, No pregnancies
