Alpine Consultants Ltd. recently purchased the empty lot at 613 Cliff Ave. and plans are to begin construction on its new head office in the spring. “Permits willing, we’ll be breaking ground next spring,” said Al- pine principal and owner James Kay. “We can’t do anything this fall unfortunately but we’re looking to go next spring.” Alpine is an engineering consulting firm with a focus on land development. “When a land owner or developer is trying to build, whether it’s a subdivision or townhouse site or even a commercial building, our speciality is helping people get the approvals and get built,” James explained.
