School District #83 school trustees voted March 10 to defer decisions on any matters beyond those recommendations for September 2015 put forth in the long -term facilities report. Enderby trustee Chris Coers said the board agreed to proceed with discussion around the September 2015 recommendations because they are of a higher priority and discussion must begin now to fit the board’s bylaws regarding the public required consultation period. “We’re looking at the recommendations. It doesn’t mean we’re going to do them,” said Chris. “Once consultation happens, we’ll know if these things make sense.” The Long Term Facility Plan is a big picture view of the district and makes recommendations for the entire geographical area.
