about it, Enderby Legion’s golf tournament
held at Birchdale Golf
Course on Sunday, September 7th is a social
event.
“It is always a
good time,” said Dee
Corea-Jacobson, golf
tournament organizer.
“Golfing begins at
10 am out at Birchdale.
Then, at 4 pm we gather
here at the Legion and
prizes are given out. A
barbeque follows and
Chef Mark Lacasse volunteers his time to do
the barbeque. After dinner, there is live music
with Bonnie Lamb plus
a guitarist that used to
play in Crystal Gayle’s
old band.”
Dee feels good about
Enderby Legion’s hospitality as its signature.
“We welcome everyone to the golf tournament. It is open to the
public. And everyone
that walks in the door
of the Legion will be
greeted and signed in
by a member.
Our jam sessions are
always full - everyone
can come here.”
The golf tournament
is a fundraiser for the
Legion, which perpetuates mutual benefits.
