Dear Mrs. Newsom
I am leaving Cherbourg, England tomorrow to get on a cruise called the
titanic to head back to America. I have waited 26 years to get on a ship this big and
this fancy. I will be staying in a first class cabin on the upper deck. My cabin
number is C148 and my ticket number is 111369, E30. The titanic will take me to
New York where you and I will reunite. Just in case you are wondering if
something happens to the ship, the first class passengers will be the first people to
get in the life boats. My room is near lifeboat number five, so if the ship sinks I
will be evacuated to lifeboat number five. When I was born on the 30th of May in
1885 I have wanted to go on a cruise and now I finally get to go on one. I will send
you a postcard tomorrow when I get on the titanic. I will be traveling the titanic
tomorrow alone.
From Your Awesome Husband,
Mr. Karl Howell Behr
