Dear Diary,
Tomorrow I will board the Titanic, the unsinkable ship. I will leave
from Cherbourg as a trip to get my mind off of my crumbling marriage
with my husband Boulton Earnshaw. Hopefully after my trip has trip has
ended he would have learned his lesson so we can continue our marriage so
I can cancel my divorce claim. I will be riding with my long time friend
Mrs. Margaret Hay, and my Mom Mrs. Lily Alexenia Potter. I think it is
terrible that I already have filing divorce papers at age 23. I am getting off
in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in the United States after the voyage is
over. We will be riding first class as it will get my mind off the divorce
even faster. My mom and I will be sharing a room C-54. Lilly’s room will be
near ours. My mom’s cute little dog will be joining us as well to keep us
company. Our escort Gilbert Milligan Tucker Jr. will also come on the trip
with us. I am very excited to board the ship tomorrow.
Mrs. Olive Earnshaw
