ELIGIBILITY GUIDELINES AND APPLICATION FORM 1. What is The HOPE Fund? The Hats Off Positive Endeavour (HOPE) Fund was established on 01 February 2006, to provide small grants of goods and services to people living with HIV in Queensland who are experiencing financial hardship, have a demonstrated material need and/or are looking to improve their lives. The Fund is an initiative of Oz Showbiz Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and Queensland Positive People (QPP), in partnership with the Queensland AIDS Council (QuAC). A representative from each organisation make up the grants committee, who make decisions on the outcome of each application. The HOPE Fund does not receive any government funding. All funds raised are donated through proceeds from World AIDS Day, community fundraising events, as well as private donations from individuals and businesses.
