BOARD BENEFITS SUMMARY Below is a brief description of our Board member benefits. For more detailed information, please refer to the policy manual or certificate of insurance for applicable benefit plans. Health Insurance Eligible for benefits the 1st day of the month following 3 months of service. Benefits: Aetna PPO or HMO Fully paid premiums for board members and dependents. Dental Insurance Eligible for benefits the 1st day of the month following 3 months of service. Benefits: Principal Dental Fully paid premiums for board members and dependents. Vision Insurance Eligible for benefits the 1st day of the month following 3 months of service. Benefits: VSP Fully paid premiums for board members and dependents. Voluntary 457 Retirement If a Board member waives medical, dental or vision coverage, they are eligible to receive the cash equivalent of 50% of the lowest employee only medical plan. This cash equivalent must then be put into the Voluntary 457 Retirement plan. Member
