• 60 year old male s/p MVA with left clavicle
fracture and left temporal lobe contusion, SAH
and SDH. No intra-abdominal or thoracic
injuries.
• Had bolt and ventriculostomy placed
• Patient was considered high risk for DVT and
was placed on mechanical prophylaxis. He was
not a candidate for chemical prophylaxis.
